Auditions: JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
SAUK PRAIRIE THEATRE GUILD
 
Auditions will be held on the following days:
 Wed May 27  6:00-8:00
 Thurs May 28 6:00-8:00
 
The Sauk Prairie Theatre Guild will hold auditions for “Joseph....” at
the River Arts Center, Sauk Prairie High School, 105  Ninth St.,
Prairie du Sac, WI 53578 on the above dates.  Callbacks if necessary
will be held on Monday, June 1, 6:00-8:00.  This show has a large cast
with significant chorus work and many minor singing roles for men
 
Those auditioning should prepare a selection of one minute or less of a
standard musical theatre  song, or anything from a Webber-Rice show. An
accompanist will be provided, or you may bring your own.
 
Suggested songs for specific roles:
 Narrator - “Any Dream Will Do”
 Joseph - “Close Every Door”
 Reuben - “Those Canaan Days” (French accent, character voice)
 Benjamin - “Benjamin Calypso” (character voice, ‘Harry Bellafonte’
accent)
 
CHORUS:   Any musical theatre selection in the style, or “Any Dream
Will Do”
  There will be dancing involved for both women and men chorus members
 
CHILDREN’S CHORUS AUDITIONS - grade level 4-6 - will be held:
 
Wed May 27   3:30-5:00 Grand Avenue Elementary School
     225 Grand Ave, Prairie Du Sac, WI
 
Thurs May 28    3:30-5:00 Grand Avenue Elementary School
 
Auditioners may arrive anytime between 5:45 and 8:00.  Please be
prepared to be patient if necessary!  For more information about
auditions, please contact Karen Luher at either 643-5056 (W) during the
