So I just moved to Boston for my coop, and tomorrow I start running my 8 week training cycle for the RPS meet on August 10th. I'm signed up at a Gold's right outside Boston. It's not bad, the only annoying thing is the benches. The bar is racked really low and you can't adjust it. Just makes unracking anything heavy kind of difficult.
Since school finished I've been training twice a day and following the 'not to fucking fat, but not to fucking lean' permutation of the Apex predator diet. I hit a 545 deadlift, and I've squatted 405 a bunch of times. Just singles, but they aren't that hard. Training like that was awesome(and that diet is absolutely perfect for me), but I don't think I'd peak. I'm going to follow the training cycle I laid out before (
https://docs.google.com/a/g.rit.edu/document/d/1b-pmF7KwMscg4cNnF03THpN8549bGa2rvoTBJcQaj3A), and continue with the Apex predator diet as closely as I can. I don't have a real oven in my apartment, so I'm doing eggs and ribeyes on the stove instead of wings and ribs in the oven, and the same shakes in the morning and night. The macros will work out to about the same.
I have no idea what I weigh right now. I'm not gonna worry about it. I'll weigh myself one week out, and if I'm around 225 I'll make the effort to get under 220, otherwise I'll be a 242. Priority numero uno is hitting 455/315/600, minimum. I'm hoping to get more than that honestly.
Figured I'd start a clean log to keep track of my first attempt at peaking for a meet. I start with my squat day tomorrow.
