The Cam shows up in Device manager under "Other Devices" with a yellow Exclamation icon. The camera is not detected anywhere else, I've checked in Logitune, Ghub, Teams, and Zoom.If i click the device and go to properties it clearly shows there is NO DRIVER.The brio microphone however is detected and confirmed working
I have gone into device manager, selected the BRIO, gone to propertied, update driver:Search Automatically says - "Windows could not find drivers for your device"Browse my computer for drivers - select from list of available drivers on my computer. if i go to cameras there is something that says "Logitech Camera" if i install that, Ghub and logitune detect the camera, but i get no video. there is an error that says "Webcam is used by another application"
Most recently i found the drivers online (not on the logitech site because the conveniently dont provide them to their customers... Thanks guys!) Anyways, i went the manual route and installed the correct drivers 1.0.85.0 and the cam is now detected under imaging devices in device manager as well as all the applications.
I just updated my Windows 10 to Insiders Fast Build 15042, and suddenly my glorious new Logitech BRIO 4k webcam doesn't work! Well, it's all beta software, but it turns out the issue is with something in the Logitech INF files for their drivers. I'm assuming they'll figure it out, but the nutshell is that the first install works, but the driver gets messed up on the upgrade. You can't just pull out the camera and put it in again, you need to DELETE the drivers and have them redownloaded by Windows Update/Device Manager.
Logitech drivers were developed before UVC drivers were optimized for webcams. Today, standard UVC drivers are perfectly suitable for controlling the settings of multi-camera streaming while maintaining a stable environment. Video quality remains uncompromised.
The Logitech C920 webcam works with Logitech Webcam Software (LWS), which was specifically designed to work with Logitech drivers. As a result, using the Logitech C920 with a standard UVC driver prevents the LWS from working correctly. As an alternative, we recommend the following applications:
But with the Mac there are no configuration settings, but one review I read said that it does have different fields of view programmed inside it. But how do you configure? There are no cameras settings for doing this. Well it turns out that Logitech does have a configuration tool at brew install logitech-camera-settings and it will install the Logitech camera settings.
The first thing you should do when you find your video from your BRIO webcam lost or your webcam is no longer recognized by Windows 10 CU is to check whether your Logitech BRIO camera driver is incompatible, for the BRIO Webcam driver or software compatibility issues may occur after Windows 10 Creators Update. To exclude that likelihood, uninstall all the Logitech software and drivers completely Control Panel and follow below steps:
If you prefer a quick way to get the best-matched Logitech Brio Webcam driver and solve the Brio Webcam not available hitch, you can turn to a trustworthy audio driver updater tool, like Driver Talent. Favored by millions of people worldwide, it could download and update the most compatible Logitech Brio camera drivers with just one click.
Same issue.
Intel Arc Control is one of the buggiest software I have ever had the displeasure of using. And this is not an exaggeration.
I use the Virtual Camera constantly to use the Blur Background effect. When it works, it works fine. But it is extremely finicky. Every time I put my PC to sleep or hibernate, I have to restart the application. Ok, I can handle that. Not a good look though for a behemoth like Intel with an army of programmers.
The icing on this rotten cake is 4369 is completely broken. It cannot use my external Logitech camera since it errors out with "something went wrong when trying to set camera source" and "camera is currently being used by another app". My internal camera is not working either via Arc. As of now, I am dead-in-the-water. I have tried a bunch of remedies to no avail.
For such a foundational software like the graphics driver, this is not acceptable.
BTW, the Windows camera app works fine. I can switch between my built-in camera and my external Logitech USB camera with no issues so the problem lies in the Intel Arc software/drivers.
