According to Curry Student Center policies, there are a limited amount of lockers that are available to commuters, located in the tunnel system of the University. Lockers are distributed by a first come, first serve basis. You can sign up for a locker through the Husky Card Services portal in the Student Hub. To obtain a locker you need to be an active student and have a functioning Husky Card. Limited to one locker per student.
Day use lockers are available in multiple locations across the Student Recreation Center including inside the locker rooms, by the Midtown Courts, between the Fitness Alley and Midtown Fitness, outside the Cycling Studio, and more. There are also open cubbies to store non-valuable items under the stairs in Midtown Fitness.
You can also rent lockers by the term or annually. These lockers are located inside the locker rooms, and outside private bathrooms and changing areas. Visit the Welcome Desk in the main lobby to rent a locker.
Lockers are only available to currently enrolled students and current employees. The University is not responsible for the contents of any locker. Users must use the lock provided by Roosevelt University. No stickers or posters are allowed on the lockers. No dangerous items, illegal items, or items otherwise prohibited by Univeristy policy may be stored in lockers at any time. Items causing unpleasant odors are not allowed. Lockers must be able to be fully closed at all times. Roosevelt University reserves the right to open lockers at its discretion at any time and to remove any items it believes compromises the safety or environmental quality of Roosevelt University. Roosevelt University reserves the rights to charge for damages to the locker and may cancel this rental agreement at any time for any reason.
If you do not renew your locker or turn in your lock by the above date the lock will be changed on your locker and all items will be removed from the locker and discarded. Additionally, you will be charged a lost lock fee of $10.00. Failure to properly clean your locker will result in a cleaning charge of $25.00.
Annual rental (January 1 through December 31) costs $48 plus a refundable $40 damage deposit. The rental fee is reduced by $4 each month into the term but month-to-month rental is not available. For details about locker rental, please call 612-373-3333.
UNCG students, faculty, and staff may check out a locker, free of charge, for the current academic term - fall, spring, or summer. Lockers are limited to one per person. Combination locks are provided for the lockers; personal locks are not allowed. Requests for lockers are processed starting on the first day of classes in each semester. To retain a locker for the next term - near the end of the current term renew it online via My Library Account or it in person at the Check Out Desk. Lockers are otherwise cleared by library staff at the end of each term. Please be sure to clear lockers by the due dates.
Grab a personal locker at UREC to store all your gear. UREC lockers are fully accessible and are in close proximity to the UREC Pools and allow easy access to all activity spaces. Our locker rooms come equipped with:
Semester locker plans are sold during fall, spring, and summer. Semester locker plans are pro-rated three weeks after the start of each semester. All lockers must be renewed or cleared by the semester expiration date. Should you elect not to renew your locker during the renewal period, please remove all locker contents and re-lock your locker with the provided combination. Failure to clear the locker by the stated date will result in UREC staff clearing the locker and the assessment of a $10 service fee.
The RPAC Sport Shop is located between the men's and women's locker rooms on the ground floor. Pick up and exchange your towel, check out items for the games room, reserve equipment, rent a locker and more.
Free day-use lockers are available in both the men's and women's locker rooms, in the fitness center, in the hallway leading to the aquatic center, on the second floor, and across from the Sport Shop. You can receive towel service at the RPAC with a day locker for $3.
Locker Renewals
Your locker anniversary date is the last day of the month one calendar year from the date it was rented. If your locker is not renewed or cleaned out on your anniversary date, there will be a $10 fee to receive your collected items.
All members who rent a permanent locker at the RPAC will automatically receive complimentary towel service. Simply drop your white towel off at the Sport Shop after use and receive a new, clean white towel for the next use.
