Since we've got a nice mix of old and new members here in the Google
Group, it's a good idea to start introducing ourselves and get to know
each other better!

I'm Stephanie, I'm an alumni participant in Students For Cambodian
Schools, and former president. I joined in the early days of the club
and took over for the first president, Sam. I organized several
fundraisers, including our first Coin War and the awesomely successful
Video Game Marathon Fundraiser.

I graduated earlier this year, and now live in the Washington, DC
area. I still hope to be an active participant in the club, though!
I'm still largely the club's "tech girl," running the website,
promoting via Twitter and other social media, and offering general
ideas and thoughts from my tenure as president.

I hope to get to know some of the new members, despite my distance,
and to stay in touch with the ones I already know! This is going to be
a big year for the club, so I'm excited to see what you guys do
without me :)

What about you? Reply with a little bit about yourself!

Well most of you have probably met me by now if not my name is Kirk
Redmond. I am the current treasurer and soon to be president of SCS. I
got involved with the club last year, just one of many clubs that
appeal to my social responsibility and humanitarian side. Anyways I
quickly rose to Treasurer and helped organize, throw and participate
in Worst Game Ever Marathon! I'm from outside of Philly and am a
second year Marketing Major here with an International Relations
minor.

Similar to Stephanie I run the twitter page, facebook page, email
list, and google group, however just an aside here, if anyone would
like to step up and run our social media just talk to me and I'd love
to hand the reins over.

Outside of the club I love music, especially (rock, punk etc.),
Snowboarding, Video Games, and Reading.

Hope to meet you all soon, our first meeting is being tentatively
planned for next week, but for now If you want to find out more about
the club check out our facebook page and our club website to see
exactly what it is we do and why we do it.

Kirk
