So to those of you interested in cool books about game development I have a few here for you:

So, just to get you all started:

AUDIO:
- Audio Programming for Interactive Games by Martin D. Wilde
- Designing Audio Effect Plug-ins in C++ by Will Pirkle
- The Complete Guide to Game Audio by Aaron Marks

GAME ENGINE / AI PROGRAMMING:
- Artificial Intelligence for Games by Ian Millington + John Funge
- 2D Game Collision Detection

- HTML&CSS: design and build websites by Jon Duckett
- Introduction to Programming with Greenfoot by Michael Kolling
(for learning java programming basics: keep in mind you should also learn how to use eclipse)
- HTML5 Canvas: For Games and Entertainment by Rob Hawkes

One book that has been recommended to me by several people is A Theory of Fun for Game Design, by Raph Koster.  I'm currently reading it and it's pretty interesting!

Yeah, my roommate recommended that to me as well. Its on my list of "Things I Need to Read"
