| A 82 years female wife of doctor operated one month back for CA sigmoid developed chest complication on the 3rd day of operation stayed 20 days in hospital recovered well and last week PET was done showing segment II metastasis (27X18mm) 9mm away from pericardium and 11mm away from stoamch. Pt was not ready for surgery and opted by RFA Discussed with our colleges Dr Roy,Dr Subrtochadray Gigish and ramesh Did RFA under CT/USG guidance with SDE electrode and 100 c temprature mainatained for 8 minutes. Nice case, congrats. Can you tell me, is it advisable to do RFA for a solitary liver mets for periamp. growth. I did a scan yesterday evening where a solitary liver mets present in a periamp growth which is otherwise operable.
We are going to discuss the case tomorrow, I told them to get it operated and then we can do RFA OR IN SAME SITTING as it is a small lesion. Bye
