launch of new product - EUS RFA

We are pleased to announce the launch of EUS RFA (for Endoscopic Ultrasound guided RFA) particularly for CA Pancreas.

 

EUS RFA probe is a monopolar  that can be used with any EUS machine. EUS RFA probe is 1 Fr. and is compatible with even a 25 Ga. needle of the EUS machine.

 

With EUS RFA probe, the Endoscopist guides the needle into the tumor under Endoscopic Ultrasound visulalisation. Biopsy is done. He then advances EUS RFA probe into the tumor and ablates the tumor with a power setting of 10 Watts for 2 minutes. The EUS RFA probe is compatible with RITA Generator.

 

We did the first case of EUS RFA on Friday 28th July for pancreatic adenocarcinoma which was located at the head of the pancreas.

 

This EUS RFA probe offers significant hope for patients with CA Pancreas. You could inform your Endoscopist who has the EUS facility about the availability of EUS RFA probe. We will post some images of last weeks case in due course.
