Installation after Caffe

It is probably a trivial question, but given the fact that I already have Caffe installed, how do I go about installing Ristretto "over it" or "alongside it"??

Good question. Ristretto is based on the official Caffe on Github. You can therefore use Ristretto alongside your own changes to Caffe. Just merge Ristretto as a Git Branch.
