Plot Summary
The film tells two parallel stories that unfold in two different planets our Earth and an unnamed exoplanet. On Earth, Madhu, a mathematician, falls in love with Ramya, a medical student, but she dies in a freak accident along with his paralysed father. Depressed by the twin tragedies, Madhu tries to commit suicide, but his look-alike from the other world takes him to the exoplanet. There, he meets Varna, a warrior woman who resembles Ramya. Varna is forced to marry Maravan, a nobleman who resembles Madhu, but she does not love him. Maravan loves Varna and tries to win her heart by fighting a lion and protecting her from the tyrant king. The king wants to capture Varna and use her blood to become immortal. Madhu helps Maravan and Varna to escape from the king and his army. He also learns that the exoplanet is dying and needs Amma, a divine being who can restore life. Madhu decides to sacrifice himself to save the exoplanet and its people.
