Subject: RCPS - Safe Night Public Safety Workshop

Good morning,

Safe Night would like to invite anyone working on addressing community safety to attend the Rutgers University Center on Public Security (RCPS) - Newark, public safety workshop titled "Proactive Strategies for Enhanced Community Responses to Homelessness and Downtown Safety."

Attendees will be introduced to the Proactive Alliance relationship-based policing framework and to case studies that discuss how the model was used to address homelessness in Wichita, KS, and reduce violence and disorder in Fort Worth, TX. The workshop offers an introduction to evidence-based public safety models, providing a blueprint for the "co-production" of safety in their own city.

It's free to attend, lunch will be provided, and space is limited.

Date and time:
April 14, 2026
12 pm - 4 pm ET
Location: Rutgers University, Newark
Here is a link to the updated flyer with more information and registration details.

Sincerely,
Dimitrios
