May 23, 2023: U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland discussed the role that NIJ-funded research on Risk Terrain Modeling (RTM) plays in helping “local governments better understand the relationship between a community’s physical conditions and crime.”
“Through this method, cities can develop tailored strategies to prevent and disrupt violence in collaboration with the people experiencing it.”
