In case anyone on this listserv is interested...

Note the data analytics focus on injuries, such as via roadways (e.g., https://www.riskterrainmodeling.com/traffic.html) and other public health issues (https://www.rutgerscps.org/public-health.html)

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Request to share IHME Injuries Researcher job opening

Dear Dr. Guohua Li,

I hope this finds you well during undoubtedly difficult and uncertain times. I am the hiring manager for an Injuries Researcher position that just opened on my team at IHME in Seattle, Washington. I was hoping to promote the position among injuries epi-specific MPH programs across the US. If you have a listserv or other avenues to share the position, I would really appreciate your help.

I've provided a short blurb below that makes it easy to share more widely.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about the position or team.

Thank you,
Erin

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) has an excellent opportunity for a Researcher to join the Injuries team. The GBD Injuries team takes on the challenging scientific endeavor of estimating the global burden of 33 injuries, including road injuries, interpersonal violence, drowning, and more, by leveraging large amounts of data, a complex analytical framework, and a global collaborator network.

An ideal candidate for this position would bring strong analytic and quantitative skills and a demonstrated interest in injuries and their effect on population health.

This position is eligible to work fully remote; work schedule required to overlap 50% of IHME Office hours between 8am - 6pm Pacific Time.

Anyone interested in this position can apply here. If you have any additional questions, please contact Erin Hamilton (eha...@uw.edu).
