Hosted by the Upstate Crime Analysis Center at the University of South Carolina - Upstate, in partnership with the Rutgers Center on Public Security and Simsi, this workshop is FREE and open to everyone. 

OVERVIEW:
This full-day, in-person workshop equips public safety leaders, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community stakeholders with the tools to work together to prevent crime and manage public spaces effectively. 

You will learn how to create a strategy for crime prevention that leverages data analytics and the unique strengths of local partners. This framework provides a clear, step-by-step process to bring multiple groups together, define problems, align resources, and design programs that are locally relevant and sustainable.
