The International Federation for Musculoskeletal Research Societies has just launched an ambassador program:
www.ifmrs.org/ambassadors/
The IFMRS Ambassadors connect early-career researchers across the globe.
IFRMS Ambassadors are dynamic leaders in the musculoskeletal field who are interested in connecting with the IFMRS, and their role will be to increase our reach, profile, and engagement, particularly in LMICs or in countries where there is currently no musculoskeletal research society. There is no formal requirement to apply for this position, though professional standing and contacts are key assets.
IFMRS Ambassadors will have as a key purpose the development of IFMRS Networks in the global regions in which they have, or can build, strong contacts within the scientific musculoskeletal community. These Networks may be national or regional, and are designed to:
a) support the engagement of key individuals from those areas in our work;
b) facilitate the sharing of knowledge and implementation of the Global Action Plan;
c) support the establishment of stronger local structures, such as a musculoskeletal research society, over time.
The deadline is 30 September.
