Improving Reproducibility in Biomedical Research: Lessons from the Antibody Crisis

The African Reproducibility Network (AREN) invites you to register for our next webinar on reproducibility, dubbed 'Improving Reproducibility in Biomedical Research: Lessons from the Antibody Crisis'

Antibodies are among the most widely used tools in biomedical science, yet poorly characterised reagents have undermined the reproducibility of thousands of studies and slowed translation into patient benefit. 

The session, which forms part of AREN's webinar series 'Promoting Reproducibility in Africa', will introduce the Only Good Antibodies (OGA) community and the YCharOS consortium, which are working with academia, industry, and funders to generate open, standardised antibody validation datasets. We will discuss how this approach is changing practices across the life sciences, and consider what broader lessons can be drawn for reproducibility initiatives worldwide.  The session details are below:
