As Kiran mentioned All need to carry an ID proof.

Talked to Kiran just now to reiterate the need for Tatkal tickets !

It may be very difficult to get the names changed on tickets as they all are booked under different batches. So the agent will have to take paper tickets to the counter and get them done. Tickets are already with Sinha's sister from where he will collect and being to station. So I think working out the logistics for changing the name will be very difficult at last minute.

However I don't think ID is checked for paper tickets. Isn't it  done only for e ticket?

Please let me know if we still need to book Tatkal for anyone.

We would not need the Innova as well as Tatkal bookings.

What is the talk about innova?  My flight is delayed from LA. There is a possibility that I may miss DBX to Del connection in which I will miss shatabdi. Although Kiran has told me an alternative, I am open to any other alternative plan. Is innova an alternative plan to reach Rishikesh? I will be in airplane mode until I reach Dubai. 

Once I reach Dubai I will let this group know if I am in shatabdi or not. If not, then I am open to any other alternative plan. Please keep me in your mind for all alternative plans.

I have done the PNR checking online - It only shows the status.

Here are the PNR numbers anyways - 2362469073, 2625148251, 2262468768, 216-xxxxxxxx (not legible)

This is what I got from the TT on the Rajdhani about "Paper" tickets issued from the counter having no names on them - Paper tickets other than Tatkal have NO names and ages on them. The system has these details which are printed on the chart ! The TT then verifies EVERY entry on it with an ID proof, including children.

So its a means to reign touting of tickets.
