This holy season, as we meditate on the Lord's holy passion,  The lord is compelling me to walk the the steps alongside his blessed mother. To unite with her sorrows.

To have raised Jesus  knowing that he was not hers to hold onto, Perhaps living with some inclination of what fate awats him on this earth ,she knows the pain of all parents who are raising a terminally ill child.

When jesus was not accepted by his own people, ganged up on and threatned to be pushed over a steep rock,  she knows the pain of every parent whose child is bullied and rejected.

When Jesus was condemned to death , she knows the horror of every parent who receivs that diagnosis that there is no cure for their child.

As she walks alongside Jesus  beaten and stumbling on his path to Calvary, she knows the pain of every parent who is watching their child suffer with their own problems , battle depression , suffer physical and mental trauma .  Wanting desperately to be able to make it go away, to do anything to ease their pain she knows that helplesness and terror of every parent.

In accepting his lifeless body of her son, she knows the struggle and pain of parents who have to pick up the pieces of their life after the loss of their child . She knows the pain of those who have loved and lost, she knows the pain of those who are still in the middle of the battle.

This holy season as I walk the way of the cross, I will walk alogside Mary on that path to Calvary, I will carry in my heart all those Mums and Dads who know that pain and ask our bleased mother to show us the way to hold on in faith as she did.

Praise the Lord..
