We are on the cusp of Kawaka's 18th Birthday. I was inspired to write this letter to myself from 18 year ago

Praise the Lord !

 I thank the Lord in knowing I prayed for you and your son 18 years ago..! You gave me hope when I had no hope for my son as well... just yesterday I celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary and will be celebrating my son's 15th birthday next week... both are milestones for me and my husband and for our son... ! God has been good to us Nikki and the part you played in inspiring me to reach out to him... to sit at his feet, has been tremendous.. I remember the letter you wrote once saying what a wonderful God we have...Father of Moses, Abraham and now of us.. tiny people infornt of the world..  but in his eyes we are his children.. Father to us.. ! 

I thank my Lord for being such an amazing father! for not letting go of us even when we are not worthy of his love...! Thank you for sharing this letter, you renewed my faith !

Dear Nicky,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 

In the book of Judges, it is recorded that the people of Israel were unable to stay faithful because the forgot what God had done for them through Gideon. Earlier, in the book of Joshua, when the Israelites crossed the Jordan River, God commanded Joshua to preserve the stones where the Levites stood while He held back the river's flow. Like those stones, your sharing serves as a memorial that reminds us of God's greatness. I will surely share your letter with those who are struggling with problems that don't seem to have any visible solution, to remind them of God's faithfulness. As the book of Revelation teaches us, a testimony isn't merely an account of God's past deeds—it's a prophecy of what He will continue to do, again and again. Your letter will lift many hearts.
