15 years of blessings

Praise the Lord,

Dear Brothers and Sisters...

15 years ago,  the Lord answered my prayer for motherhood by filling my arms with 2 babies.  In doing so He also hung a little cross on my heart. Whilst that little cross has been painful and traumatic at times, with God's grace it has never ever been a burden.

My little cross has been the fountain that keeps filling me with God's grace, it is my northern star that keeps leading me into the presence of my Lord in every moment of my days.

Today on their 15th birthday I give heartfelt thanks for the joy of Motherhood, for the many blessings that have followed and above all I say to the Lord " Thank you for the cross, I now understand".

And Thank you brothers and sisters of the CRL and VCRL for accompanying me every step of the way.

Praise the LORD.

Belated wishes for JOY for all of you but it's Forever.  The journey you have had and will continue to have, is Blessed.  It's a little glimpse of what we learn as Mother Mary 'pondered in her Heart'.  In your case Sister Nicky, you enlarged your Heart to include us in the VCRL.  Thank you all for including us in your journey.  Miracles happen all the time.  But we seldom become aware of them.  Actually, though they are miracles to us humans, they must be the way of the LORD Whom we get to know a little bit at a time.

I have had such little bits coming my way every time I read through your many sharings.  To fathom GOD in His entirety is impossible for me.  That was my issue 44 years back and that turned me 'off' GOD.  As an 'all knowing youngster', I thought not being able to know GOD in His entirety, within our lifetime was not fair.  And though I know only a tiny bit about GOD now, that constantly fueled by what I learn every moment - though most of them appear not the 'right' in my human eye, but realise are our Daily Bread in hind-sight, I now know that the glimpses we have of the LORD are the Best.
