Hi,

I would like to suggest that a second type of interface should be used
for generation of the relational database, i.e. the current interface
object would remain exclusively as the Application Interface but a new
object would be added to the editor representing the Relational
database interface. Entities would need to be added to a relational
database interface so that they are generated by the rdb generators.

The reason I would like this feature is that I primarily use Rise for
modelling and as such sometimes model entities that are for future use
or for providing a more complete picture (i.e. they may in fact
represent real world physical objects for explaining a design). It
would be good to have a way to exclude these entities from the rdb
generation process because at the moment I need to manually delete
them. If an interface is not suitable then maybe a new property on the
entity that flags whether it should be generated or not?

Thank you for considering this request.

Regards,
Nick

CA's Erwin has a "Logical View" that could be useful to borrow from.
