It would be useful - especially for a newbe as me - to have DROP Statements in front of the ALTER or CREATE Statements.

When trying around with "incompatible" database migration steps this helps to start again from scratch every time. When each migrating step is kompatible then its ok without dropping the old one because the new step can be build basing on the old database.

to RISE
What above all makes RISE unique is that a RISE model consists, unless
it has been refactored, of all changes made to the model during its
entire life-cycle. This means that you can generate a production
database, continue working on your model while the production system
is in use, and update the production system later on without losing
any data.

The refactor function will generate a new model containing the
shortest path - smallest number of operations - needed to create the
same final result as the current model. However, you cannot use a
refactored model to update existing systems based on the model. For
more information, please read: http://www.risetobloome.com/PageItem.aspx?item=763.
