This product is definatley ahead of it's time.  I've looked into literally a dozen different UML editors, and they are either over-polluted with dozens and dozens of top-heavy, redundant and conflicting features, or they lack the very basic functionalities required.

RISE walks this line of simplicity and power, as if I had written it especially for myself!

Still, I can see that RISE is yet suffering some growing pains.

Please have a look at the problem I am having, complete with JPG illustration, a copy of the offending code, and model, and text file with the error text.

My temporary solution is to run a regular expression search and replace, post-process on the generated PHP code.  This is unattractive, and so I hope that the provided information is sufficient to lead you to the cause of the problem.

Affectionately,
  Impressed Rise User.

Hi,
Just as you seem to have guessed we did write RISE for ourselves. We
just like to share, so that others may enjoy its benefits as well.

I'm sorry about your troubles with the PHP generator. Our intention
was to develop an ODBC for PHP code generator but, unfortunately
there was at that time a major bug in it, so we had to make a specific
solution instead. We will research the present status for the ODBC for
PHP to see if it is time to switch to an ODBC for PHP-code generator
now.

Unfortunately, there are some problems with the present code generator
for PHP but, we are investigating all of these problems and will get
back in this
forum as soon as we have a solution ready for use.

If you encounter any other problems with it, please, let us know. Your
feedback is very valuable to us!

Best regards,
Joar
