Multiple Views

I'm trying to create two views for an entity and have interfaces based
on each of the two views. The problem is when I create the MySQL
script it complains about a duplicate ID.

What I'm really trying to accomplish is to be able to have two
different list methods on the same view. With one list method I just
want everything in the entity and the other I want to be able to
specify a search "where" criteria to get a subset of the records in
that entity.

The problem I'm really running into is that the list method I've
created to search by a phone number in that entity doesn't include the
relationship to a parent entity. I get the ID to the parent entity but
I would like to get some of the data like I can with the list method
created based on the view for the child table.

What should I do?

Hi,

You can add methods to your interfaces by dragging methods from the toolbar on the left to your interface, or by right-clicking on the interface and select “Add method”. See http://www.risetobloome.com/Page_1_S.aspx?ITEM=648 for more information.

 

I have attached a sample model that, if I understand your question correctly, implements list methods similar to what you are looking for.

 

I am curious though about the duplicate ID you mentioned. I would appreciate if you could send us a copy of your model so that we can reproduce this.
