I have just released a tech report that describes in more detail the changes (and the reasoning) made from BOOMv1 to BOOMv2. I will be presenting this report at the CARRV Workshop in Boston in October. I hope to see you there!

In other news, I have also released v2.0.1 which includes some new bug fixes (https://github.com/ucb-bar/riscv-boom/releases/tag/v2.0.1) for issues that showed up in running SPECint.
