The link you provided is for foxit editor. Is that an add on to the reader that has to be D/Led separately? I also notice that it is a trial version so there must be an expense for it.

Sorry about that link, but I got the reader, then downloaded the editor from the Foxit Website, not some hooky Website. I have been using it for a couple of years and have never paid a penny for it. Long trial?? Maybe I should stop now lest someone in Foxit reads these posts!

If you want to correct text there is no complete way to do it, except by going back to the source document. Any PDF text editing is limited to doing things like correcting spelling and other minor changes that do not require wholesale rearrangement of words. For bigger changes you should export the pdf to something like a word document, edit it in a proper text editor and then re-export to pdf.

The other program I use regularly is PDF Merger. I have used it to scan a complete book of marriage license application information for genealogy research. My hand scanner saves each page of the book as a pdf. I use this program to combine them all into one large pdf file. This one does not have a free version, but it does have a trial. I scan the book page by page with a hand scanner, use PDF Merger to combine them, then use the PDF OCR X to make the file searchable. Once I am done scanning the pages, these two programs make simple and quick work out of combining and making the file searchable. When done with all the volumes I plan on posting the files on our county genealogy society website. We are talking all marriage license information from 1800 to around 1990.

Just installed on Win 10 Pro 64-bit. Successful. But got the same error message when I tried to run FixTransforms64bit.exe, even though I Unblocked it first and tried to run it as Administrator.

I did know know it was that new. I think I got mine from an adobe page not a redirect. I see what I got is from 2007. I have no clue if the keys from Techspot will work for what I got . Maybe I will use the DL link from Techspot and dl again
