RIPUL 2026 - Youth Player Policy, Social Calendar, Signup Info!

We have some more updates in regards to RIPUL 2026 we would like to share!
YOUTH
The Board has been diligently working behind the scenes on this being our ‘first official’ year as a fully fledged non-profit. With this change, we are making sure the league is covering its bases in regards to insurance, liability, etc. We are taking extra steps in ensuring that our youth players will also be covered, playing in a primarily adult league. With that being said, we will have new policies in regards to youth players in RIPUL:
Our new Youth Policy:
Our minimum age will be 14 years old. Players under 14 will not be allowed to play. You must be 14 by the date of the first game (May 25)
All youth players (under 18 years old) will need to provide: signed waiver, parent/guardian signed waiver, and emergency contact phone number(s)
Youth players that are 14 & 15 years old are required to play (and baggage) with a parent/guardian that has played in RIPUL for at least (1) year
Youth players that are 16 & 17 years old are required to have a reliable ride home from games by an adult approved by their parent/guardian, present by 8pm, as not to leave unattended youth at the fields
SUMMER LEAGUE INFO
Game Nights: Monday & Wednesday 6:15-8:20pm, May 25th - August 5th (22 games)
Tournament Date: Saturday August 8th (all day)
Fields Sites: Rehoboth Youth Soccer fields, Lincoln School fields, potential satellite fields (addresses on RIPUL site)
Cost: $100
Discounts: $40-off for new (to RIPUL) Defender of Women (DoW) or Defender of Choice (DoC: primarily intended for gender expansive players). $20-off for players who recruit a new DoW/DoC, which will be reimbursed after admission to the league.
SIGNUPS
A reminder that RIPUL signups will go live on Friday April 3rd, and will be open for 24 hours. Mark your calendars!
SOCIAL CALENDAR
See the attachment for the activities we have planned for this season!
We also plan to host pre-season Learner's Clinic & DoW/DoC Clinic! More information will be sent along once dates and times are finalized, but they will likely be held in early/mid May @ the Lincoln School fields.
RIPUL CAPTAINS
Our captain application is live and we are looking for more volunteers! Feel free to email the Board if you have any questions/concerns about captaining!
JERSEY DESIGN
We have started accepting 2026 RIPUL jersey designs! The winner will be decided by a subcommittee of Board members, and the winner will receive free entry to RIPUL! Please submit all entries as a PDF to bo...@ripul.org. Deadline will be April 24th!
COMMUNICATION
We have a RIPUL Discord channel! While our primary means of communication will always be through email, players are welcome to use the Discord for general chatter, info about pickup opportunities, and ask questions about anything RIPUL!
