I'm about to start working on a new cube.  Here are the key points for it.

1)  Awful creatures with only really, really awful fliers
2)  Situational Removal that (almost) only occurs at sorcery speed
3)  Efficient and high quality "trick/surprise" cards
4)  Tons of cards that pump up creatures
5)  Lots of manafixing

The end result of this is to have a cube with really only one playable strategy: voltroning up your Balduvian Bears with everything under the sun and beating face.  This is going to take lot looking up obscure limited filler combat tricks that benefit greatly inside a complete lack of useful creatures/efficient removal.  I'm planning on 360 cards.

This cube is intended to address a complaint that I had from some of my friends.  They didn't like my cube because it was just good card overload.  I think they will enjoy this cube a lot more.

I will post updates as I think of stuff.

So is Pure // Simple too good, or exactly what you're looking for? :P
Strip Bare is probably too good.

I've had a 300 card casual deck which was essentially this strategy since about onslaught or so, here's a few of my favorites for this kind of game:

Tangle
The various totem armor cards (Spider Umbra, etc)
Roots
Oubliette
Hero's Resolve (Or as I like to call it, Blob Pants, or Dat Ass)
Spirit Link (Because of the old trick of putting it on an opponents guy)
Ancestral Mask (Obvious First Pick, or no?)

I actually couldn't disagree more :P
here especially, where all the removal is scarce, awkward, and really REALLY effective (given the whole voltron issue), blanking all your opponent's removal is really powerful, much like moat is in power max cubes.
Unsummon seems borderline overpowered in a cube where the main strategy is voltron based :P
