Install Internet Download Manager (IDM) to stop waiting for your downloads. You will be truly amazed how fast IDM downloads your files. IDM will also repair broken and resume interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns,or unexpected power outages.

Our powerful download engine uses unique algorithms to receive Internet data in a fastest possible way. IDM will accelerate downloads all times because of its innovative dynamic file segmentation technology.Unlike other download managers and accelerators, IDM segments downloaded files dynamically during download process, and it reuses available connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve the best possible acceleration performance. Our engineers have a lot of experience in download acceleration, and we constantly improve this download engine since 1999.

After installing "IDM integration module" browser extension, just continue surfing the Internet, and you will be amazed how easy is to download everything you want from your favorite web sites with IDM video download panel.

Internet Download Manager can connect to the Internet at a set time, download the files you want, disconnect, or shut down your computer when it's done. You can also synchronize changes using periodic synchronization of files. It's possible to create and schedule several download queues for downloading or synchronization.

You may choose the order, buttons and columns to appear on the main IDM window. There are several different skins for the toolbar with different button styles. All skins can be downloaded from IDM home site. Also users can design their own skins. Also you can choose the light or dark IDM theme.

Choose and set up new IDM toolbar

It's at the "Pin Extension" stage that things get stuck. It shows you graphically how to pin the extension to the chrome extensions bar but there is no way out of this setup page once you've pinned the extension as suggested.

Try uninstalling the extension, restart your computer and the try the installation again. Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. Just realized that extension is not working and is greyed out. Tried to reinstall extension several times using chrome web store and restarting laptop to no avail. KIS still recommending to install extension even it is already there. This is how it looks like when I click on the shield icon.

Scanning through the comments on the Chrome Web Store for the Kaspersky Protection extension shows that this problem has existed since at least August 2020, possibly starting with KIS 2021 (which appears was released in June 2020).

One oddity, though...
When in normal mode (with extensions activated, this one included), and I search in the Chrome Web Store for the Kaspersky Protection extension, nothing at all is found. However, I can get to the Chrome Store's page for this extension but it seems only by using the link on the extension's "Details" page, then "View in Chrome Web Store".

Hi Flood,
Thanks for the reminder, though I prefer using Vivaldi, and for now will just keep this Kaspersky extension turned off. Thanks for the heads-up about Kaspersky Password Manager.

Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure this extension was once working fine for me in Vivaldi, but hasn't for a long time. I just never got around to posting anything about this extension issue till I saw the it mentioned here again. The likely fact that it was working and now isn't seems to be the main issue here, and similarly among some of the commenters on the extension's Chrome Store page too. (FWIW, and as you no doubt know, Vivaldi is Chromium-based too, just as MS Edge, Brave, and Google Chrome are, so hopefully Kaspersky eventually does support it fully.)

In case it matters, I notice that I and the others posting here are using Chrome ver. 87.x, which is beyond the ver. 85.x that this Kaspersky page says it supports for KIS.

Also, the supported HW/SW page for KIS that you linked to has the line "Newer versions of browsers can be supported if the browser supports the corresponding technology." Although this line makes it sound a bit vague about what exactly is supported in the end, could that maybe be an issue here too?

Thanks again.

I am not able to download the browser extension on chrome.
The message says it ist blocked by my organization (I am on a private, not policy-driven standard pc).
The message keeps the same even when disabling safe-browsing.

I am getting an error with UiPath studio and Chrome Extension not working: Open Browser: Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension I have already reinstalled the extension multiple times, reinstalled UiPath Studio and followed the documentation located at these links:

@rimsha03 tried this but not fixing the problem. When I indicate element inside chrome I get an error informing me the extension is not enabled but when I checked inside chrome it is enabled. Also, still dont see the process running under chrome in task manager either.

Hi @rmunro,
IE is the most reliable but Microsoft does not have support for that anymore. If enterprise has an issue with IE then unfortunately you are on your own. So other browsers are also crucial.
Best,
Rahym S.

It happened when I tested this portion of the Workflow without first setting the variable.
Similarly, I received the same error when I invoked this Workflow and passed an empty string to the argument.

I want to start developing a passowrd manager as Chrome extension and I am really devastated and confusused. I search the internet and can't find a clear pass to reach it. I am kindly asking for your help and guidance. I think if you can help me with the developing of a simple one, I can continue to improve myself. For example do you know any simple open source extension and well documented one? I am familiar with programming languages such as C++ and pythons.

Browser content redirection prevents the rendering of webpages in the allow list on the VDA side. This feature uses Citrix Workspace app for Windows or Citrix Workspace app for Linux to instantiate a corresponding rendering engine on the client side, which fetches the HTTP and HTTPS content from the URL.

Client fetch and client render: Because the Citrix Workspace app contacts the web server directly, it requires internet access. This scenario offloads all the network, CPU, and RAM usage from your XenApp and XenDesktop Site.

There might be times when client redirection fails. For example, if the client machine does not have direct internet access, an error response might go back to the VDA. In such cases, the browser on the VDA can then reload and render the page on the server.

Google Chrome v66 or later (Chrome requires Citrix Workspace app 1809 for Windows or later on the user endpoint, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 1808 VDA or later, and the browser content redirection extension)

To use browser content redirection with Chrome, add the browser content redirection extension from the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome in the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment.

Open your Group Policy Management console and go to User Configuration \ Administrative Templates\Classic Administrative Templates (ADM) \ Google\ Google Chrome \ Extensions. Enable the Configure the list of force-installed apps and extensions setting.

Browser content redirection enhances the overlay to use the Negotiate scheme for authentication to web servers configured with Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) within the same domain as the VDA.

By default, browser content redirection uses a basic authentication scheme that requires users to authenticate with their VDA credentials each time they access the web server. For single sign-on, you can either enable the Browser content redirection Integrated Windows Authentication support policy setting or create a registry key on the VDA.
