This is a fairly significant release again, and should take care of
the majority of compatibility issues.

You should see a dramatic reduction in compatibility problems with
Handbrake, DVD2one, and other applications.

Kind regards,

Ya know. On a down note. I've been aiming to post this for the past
few beta releases, after a Compress gets done, I click Eject, when the
disc ejects and I put in another disc, RipIt quits unexpectedly. It
then gives me the option to ignore or send a report to Apple. Anyone
else having these problems?

Hi Brandon,

Are you only experiencing this on the Compress option? I start taking
a look at it. I haven't been testing consecutive compress operations,
but I will tonight. Thanks for reporting this!

Kind regards,
Scott, TLAF

So far it's only on the Compress option Scott. Not a big deal really,
but Compress is turning into a beast of a feature :)

As an addendum to my 'beast of a feature' comment. I'm averaging 1GB
or less for a HQ MP4 file. If I use the .DVDMEDIA container or
VIDEO_TS folder then it averages around 5GB per movie. I love it. TLAF
is one of the best small software companies out in my book for Apple
based products. I'm planning on purchasing Rivet (PS3 and XBox 360, I
have a Wii too, but it collects dust) and iRip soon as well as the
household pack for RipIt (as my wife uses a MacBook also and when I
get back from Afghanistan I'm getting a new MBP).

Also let me know if you can reproduce that error. If not hit me up
with how to post a crash log or what-not and we'll work from there.

OH! I've got another idea for a 'fix', cause it's not really a
feature.

Instead of having, "Property of ..." on the main app itself, maybe
place it in the 'About' dialog... Or center it on the main app window
(I'd prefer it in the 'About' dialog though).

Just a suggestion!

Thanks Brandon,

I'll work on getting that error knocked out. I know you're limited on
time, but I'm also planning on a rework to the compress option to make
it much better. It's my next big task now. If you'd don't mind, you
can send me your crash log to scott(at)tlaf(dot)com and it might help
accelerate narrowing down the problem.

Thanks again,
Scott, TLAF
