I saw someone else had this same problem but it was an old thread and
I didn't want to tack onto it.

I was able to use Ripit to backup my copy of Up, but when I try to use
Handbrake to compress it, Handbrake immediately says it done. I'm
wondering if anyone has found a fix to this. Not sure if this is a
problem with how Ripit is ripping or how Handbrake is trying to
encode.

Thanks for any help,

Jake

Environment:
Mac OS X 10.6.2
Ripit 1.3.3
Handbrake 0.9.4

Have you tried using Compress in RipIt then taking it to Handbrake/
Evom? Compress is working really well for me now.

I just wished that RipIt would be able to open up .DVDMEDIA files to
re-compress them...

Random tangent... has anyone ever really noticed how Evom is movE (mov-
ie) spelled backwards?

Just tried the new beta (1.3.3f) and I can now compress Up via
Handbreak. Thanks guys for such great software!
