Just wanted to share some testing results from today with some
recently active discs. I test using HandBrake's transcoding and
DVD2One's burning and imaging capabilities:

Go Diego Go: It's a Bugs World
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success
DVD2One: success*

The Backyardigans: Tale of the Mighty Knights
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success
DVD2One: success

The Proposal
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success (must select title 38)
DVD2One: success*

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success (must select title 10)
DVD2One: success*

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success
DVD2One: success*

Star Trek (latest release)
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success (must select title 21)
DVD2One: success*

G-Force
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success
DVD2One: success*

Ratatouille
RipIt: success
HandBrake: success
DVD2One: success*

UP
RipIt: success
HandBrake: fail
DVD2One: success*

* signifies that some errors were automatically corrected by DVD2One,
and resulting image played correctly.

HandBrake Notes
If HandBrake starts to convert a movie and immediately finishes, it's
likely using the wrong title. I'm working on dealing with the
erroneous titles that the studios included. Generally, if you try the
other long titles, you'll find the proper one and transcoding will
continue like normal.

DVD2One Notes
I'm continuing to work with DVD2One to resolve compatibility, and
reduce the number of auto corrections their application is having to
perform on RipIt output. Many thanks to DVD2One.

Kind regards,
Scott, TLAF

Hi Scott,

Quick update to the list, when I ripped The Proposal, I had no chapter
38, instead it was 42? Seems to be OK, though....

Thanks

John
