There's a problem with the auto update that we're working on ... if
you want it before we can get it solved, you can manually download
from the above link.
This has several critical issues that it fixes:
* fixed bug related to sector mapping (caused crashes at the end of
the disc)
* fixed bug related to UI threading (caused ripping to hang at
different places in ripping)
* and more ...
We're working on getting the auto update information fixed.

Just finished (at long last) a successful rip of BOLT, and it burns normally (no message of "damaged file") with Toast 10.0.5. I have a few other discs to try, but this one made my (and the grandkids) day.

Quick question.....does this release allow the R2 Up allow to be
burned with Toast? Does it need any specific PPC testing?
Regards
John
Version 1.3.3i is hopefully a big leap forward :)
Bob, great news. We should be seeing much better compatibility with
other applications now.
Keeper, I've modified that progress indicator at the bottom slightly
since 1.3.3i already. Now instead of counting down, it counts up.
Basically it appears when RipIt is processing information and is not
copying sectors for a few seconds. Rather than looking like its hung,
I display the indicator which shows its current progress in emptying
an internal queue. I should've include a description in the release
notes. Its only there to make sure that you know its still working.
John, I've been using DVD2One to test rather than Toast. The
developer at DVD2One has been a great help. I did originally make
contact with a product manager on Toast, however I haven't been able
to reach him since. You should however see better compatibility in
most apps. If you can test more your PPC, that would be great. I now
have a PPC based mini in the test suite and so far so good. It proved
invaluable in locating the two crucial bugs fixed in 1.3.3i.
As a reminder, we're consolidating the forums on our own domain ...
sorry for the switch, but the control and consolidation makes it worth
it. I hope to see you guys on there!
Kind regards,
Scott, TLAF
