Posts like this are golden, thanks! I've pulled this disc out of the
collection and now using it as my current test case in solving the
remaining compatibility issues. There appears there might be a
lingering problem in some of the cell structures, as they're
registering a size of 0. I'm also in contact with the developer of
DVD2one who's been a great help. This should lend some insight in the
remaining IFO compatibility issues (which DVD2one reports 12 errors
that it corrects on this disc).
I'll get cracking on this now.
Many thanks,
Scott, TLAF
I've found the bug that was causing the video size to be calculated
incorrectly. The DVD2One reported errors on Star Trek has now dropped
from 12 to 7 now. I'll continue to hunt down the remaining errors
that it corrects. Again, I really appreciate the time you took to
post that ... it ultimately was enough of a lead to knock out more
compatibility bugs. Thanks!
Thanks again,
Scott, TLAF
* the very next beta release will have this fix.

Just wanted to respond to this thread so you'd know that 1.3.3g is now
released and available. This should fix this problem and others as
well. Compatibility should be much better now.
Kind regards,
Scott, TLAF
I think 0.9.3 doesn't like emptied titles. It appears to crash when
it does the title scan from my testing. 0.9.4 works fine but I
believe it drops the support for AVI that you need. The problem lies
in that there are lots of invalid titles to remove ... and actually
removing them requires a complex remapping of the remaining titles
throughout many structures. I can look back into removing them rather
than blocking them, but it won't be a quick fix.
I'll see what I can come up with ... if reworking the titles can make
it more friendly.
Kind regards,
Scott, TLAF
In the meantime I'll use 0.9.4 (I get no audio using Ripit compress)
and then use MPEG Streamclip for subsequent conversion to AVI.
Not great quality but it's all I have for this disk.

Patrick
