Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11, 2013 to come and celebrate The Rhode Island Shakespeare Theater (TRIST). We will be premiering a brand new documentary film by David Eliet on Bob Colonna and the 42-year history of TRIST. Plus -- the irrepressible musician and performance artist Rick Adam, one of the earliest TRIST company members, will present his own version of the TRIST story in an wacky one man show “Shakin’ Up Shakespeare.”
The evening’s celebration and fund raiser (tickets $20) will be held at the brand new Artists’ Exchange theatre at 82 on Rolfe Square, Cranston, Rhode Island, at 7:00 p.m. Space is limited so reserve your seats now by e-mailing david...@gmail.com
Come and reunite with old friends and meet new faces, including members of the cast of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” which will be opening at the end of May in downtown Providence at the Roger Williams National Memorial.
Please share this e-mail with your friends and relatives who have either worked on or enjoyed the performances of TRIST over the years, and are looking forward to more.
