Diversity/Inclusion/Gender Parity Task Force in Providence?

Hi all, 

Julie Hennrikus is the Executive DIrector of StageSource, a nonprofit theatre service based in Boston but for all of New England. (Some of you know already know Julie, and she is a true trailblazer and advocate for theatre and performance makers.) She's in the middle of a three-meeting Diversity/Inclusion/Gender Parity Task Force that is open to those in the theatre/performance who wish to engage in an open dialogue and create action steps regarding these topics. The meetings are happening in Boston, however, and she asked if there's an interest in this kind of conversation happening in Providence. She'd be happy to drive down here.

If you're interested and would like to attend—we're aiming for a meeting in November—please let me know so we can figure out numbers and venue.

I think this conversation is important to have, even in our little PVD. I would be very interested and I think these are the kinds of conversations that RIPE can help us engage with.
