forgot to ask,
does this program have vocal effects such as reverb and delay etc as the drop down list
does not allow you to click on them ?
Also how many individual tracks can you record on this program. such as if i have a backing track to sing along to, could i record 20 more tracks along side that backing track ?

I bought this adapter for my old Desktop PC with Windows Vista and I coudn't find a driver that works. Please could you help me? When I install the last driver from the TP Link web page it freeze at 90%.

@lcrusoe I found a workaround for this. My laptop is running windows Vista and I had the same issue. What you need to do is right click on the setup.exe and hit properties. Then, you need to go to the compatibility tab. Then, "enable compatibility mode", and select "windows XP SP2", and also "run as administrator". Then, it should be able to install as normal. Hope this helps!

Hi, I have itunes downloaded using windows vista and all my 4S backups are on the computer, now I have bought a 5S and can not access the updates because it says 5S is not compatible with the itunes version on Vista and it will only work with Windows 7 or higher which I do not have. What can I do to sync all my data that I have stored on my computer to update my new 5S. There must be a solution.

Support for Windows Vista (and XP) was dropped when Apple released iTunes 12.2 last year. The latest (and almost certainly last) version to support Vista is 12.1.3.6 - this is an out-of-sequence release from September 2015 that adds support for iOS 9 devices but lacks Apple Music and other features added in iTunes 12.2 and 12.3. Links to the installers:

The last of these is actually (like all "64-bit" editions of iTunes prior to 12.1.2) the 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer - this should be used if you get a warning message about video card incompatibility and may also address issues with poor audio playback, integration with 3rd party software, and general stability of iTunes.

Note also that no version of iTunes since 11.1.5 has been fully compatible with Vista; all subsequent versions consistently generate Data Execution Prevention errors on exit. Since Vista is just a little more than a year away from complete withdrawal of support by Microsoft, you really should be thinking about replacing your computer or updating it to a more recent edition of Windows. If you want to make use of Apple Music you will have to upgrade to Windows 7 or later.

It should absolutely be possible to make the recent versions of the IDE work on Vista, though vista can demonstrate some incredibly perverse behavior due to bugs (or what appear to be bugs) in vista's implementation of UAC (I've definitely seen cant-happen situations happen with UAC file and registry virtualization).

For 2 weeks now I have not been able to locate my WD My Book 1130. My USB drives seem to be buggy, I have a lot of devices in and out, and general problems with rebooting my Vista. However, all of my other drives and USB devices seem to be readable, except the MYBOOK 1130.

Hey, you can try different cable, different computers, also you can verify in a windows seven computer, also if you are using a hub, this may lead to not be able to read the drive, and always connect the unit directly to the power line

After restarting it took me several attempts just to get into Vista (for whatever reason)? Once I got in, I plugged the drive in, and it still is not being recognized or even acknowledged (with a sound or indicator of acknowledgement in the drive).

Windows Vista is an operating system released by Microsoft in 2006 as a successor to Windows XP. It was designed to be more secure, reliable, and efficient than its predecessor and introduced several new features and visual enhancements to the Windows interface.

Windows Vista was released in six different editions: Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate. Each edition had different features and target audiences, with Starter being the most basic and Ultimate being the most advanced.

Some of the new features introduced in Windows Vista include the aero interface, windows search, sidebar and gadgets, user account control, and bit locker drive encryption. The aero interface provided a more visually appealing desktop experience with transparent windows, live thumbnails, and animations. Windows search allowed for quick and easy file searches, while sidebar and gadgets provided a customizable panel for displaying weather forecasts, news feeds, and other information. User account control was a security feature that required user permission before performing certain tasks, and bit locker drive encryption allowed users to encrypt their hard drives for added security.

Some common problems with Windows Vista included slow performance on older hardware, compatibility issues with some software and hardware, and frequent security alerts and prompts due to user account control.

The Windows Vista Service Pack (SP) was a major update released by Microsoft in 2008 that included security updates, performance improvements, and new features. It was designed to address some of the common issues users had with Windows Vista and improve overall stability and compatibility.

Some alternatives to Windows Vista include Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10, which are all newer versions of Windows that offer improved security, performance, and features. Additionally, users can switch to other operating systems like Linux if they want to try something different.

To optimize the performance of Windows Vista, you can try disabling unnecessary startup programs, uninstalling unused applications, and deleting temporary files, and defragmenting your hard drive. You can also adjust visual effects settings to improve performance, disable services you do not need, and install the latest updates and drivers for your hardware.

The Windows Aero interface is a feature of Windows Vista that provides a more visually appealing desktop experience. It includes transparent windows, live thumbnails, and animations that make the interface more interactive and engaging. The Aero interface requires a DirectX 9-compatible graphics card with a windows display driver model (WDDM) driver to work properly.

UAC is a security feature in Windows Vista that prompts the user for confirmation before performing certain actions that require administrative privileges. UAC helps prevent unauthorized changes to the system and makes it harder for malware to take control of the computer. However, some users found UAC to be annoying and intrusive, leading Microsoft to make changes to UAC in later versions of Windows.

Windows ReadyBoost is a feature in Windows Vista that allows you to use a universal serial bus (USB) flash drive or secure digital (SD) card as additional memory for your system. ReadyBoost uses flash memory as a cache for frequently used data, which can improve performance on systems with limited memory. However, ReadyBoost is only useful if you have less than 2 gigabytes (GB) of random-access memory (RAM), and it is not a substitute for upgrading your system's memory.

Windows Dream Scene is a feature in Windows Vista Ultimate that allows you to set videos as your desktop background. Dream Scene uses the Windows media video format and requires a compatible graphics card to work properly. However, Dream Scene was not widely used and was discontinued in later versions of Windows.
