i have reinstalled the driver clean install in nvidia experience restarted pc and sim, same result, 3 flights attempt in heavy airports ,RKSI and VHHH, stopped again ones 5 min after and 30 min after on taxiing with same message ...

I had the same issue last days with the studio driver already updated to 531.41. I then uninstalled that driver and installed the game ready driver which then was at 531.29. Solved my problem. So guess it has to do with the 531.41 release. Guess I'll wait updating....

In the last MS / Asobo twitch session a few days ago, they kept emphasising 'always use the latest Nvidia drivers'.
A lot of the issues they were detecting with their new crash analysis system were down as GPU / Driver issues.
I know it sounds like a bit of buck-passing, but the original DX12 issues were solved by a newer Nvidia driver if you remember (working in conjunction with Asobo).

PS. A lot of performance related issues after a driver update can happen due to changes in settings caused by the update.
I have not had this myself, but I have seen some posts where people swear their settings were changed after a driver update.
It is one of those things difficult to pin down, why it happens to some and not others.

Basically what's happening is when I add any media to an old or new project, then click play, I see (and hear) there are frame drops. This media could be a video, audio, and it even happens on images - when I stretch an image and let the project play for i.e. 10 seconds, it will have quite a few frame drops.

I've watched 100 how-videos and read other Adobe tickets, and I still have no solution. I upgraded to the new Premier Pro v. 23.2 yesterday, and upon launching said my graphics driver was outdated and to "FIX" it. So I installed the Studio Driver v. 531.41, and sidelined the NVIDIA Game Ready Driver driver.

After installation, launched Premeir Pro and started experiencing the issue. I haven't used premier pro for a few months, so I don't know if either of these two updates are what caused the issue or not.

Overall, I really don't know what the issue is. I can't imagine my hardware is the issue, because it's a $2k computer I just bought new from Dell less than a year ago. I've done some gaming on it, but I wouldn't think something has gone wrong already, as my logs and testing check out.

The issue was driver-related. But not my GPU driver, my BIOS driver. I went to my computer's manufacture website (Dell), and scanned my system for outdated drivers. Amongst the 5 drivers listed, there was a CRITICAL update for BIOS. After I installed these updates, restarted the computer and let the Firmware update finish, I then went into Premiere Pro, ran my playback on Full quality without rendering and had 0 frame drops on a 29.97 FPS. Voila.

BIOS Dell XPS 8950 System BIOS 8 MB INSTALLED
Application Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin for Dell Update 26 MB INSTALLED
Storage Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver and Application 52 MB INSTALLED
Chipset Intel Management Engine Components Installer 370 MB INSTALLED
Audio Realtek High Definition Audio Driver 277 MB INSTALLED

Every time I click play, my project drops frames for 3-5 seconds. No matter where in the timeline I star to playback from, it lags/drops frames for 3-5 seconds. It is the most frustrating thing I've experienced and I don't know what the deal is.

I had updated my NVidia driver to the newest version 531.41 (Studio) and it was working properly until it wasn't, just like that. Now, I can start Enscape if I open a new file, but if I start copying and pasting objets inside it, the file closes by itself. Should I go back to version 528.49?

I'm sorry to hear about that. This should not be related to the drivers itself at this point, but to analyse this further definitely also submit us a feedback report with logs, ideally whenever you experience a situation like this or crashes generally. Please feel free to also let me know once it's sent in, afterward my technical support team and me can have a look right away.

The first time Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder are launched after installing on older macOS operating systems (earlier than macOS 13 Ventura), a message stating Display surface initialization failed is presented, and the application then crashes. This failure will not happen again in subsequent launches of each application. Apple resolved this issue in macOS 13.

We recommend that Windows users download and use NVIDIA drivers (version 531.41 or higher). This will resolve any crashing issues that may have been present with older drivers. For more information, see the NVIDIA documentation.

Issue: On Windows computers using an AMD GPU (both integrated and discreet GPUs), ProRes RAW media does not play correctly. The error "ProRes RAW video could not be decoded." may appear during import and playback. The audio portion of the video may be audible, but no video appears during playback.

Workaround: Avoid aborting the application during this process because it will require those plugins to re-initialize again during launch. Clearing the plug-in cache will also require the initialization of the plugins. We are looking at ways to optimize this process in future versions.

Adobe video apps fail to launch on macOS Sonoma (version 14), and the following error message is displayed: Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash. This issue affects all versions of Adobe apps and isn't related to the new 2024 version update, so downgrading to 2023 versions will not resolve the issue. While Sonoma users are more likely to get this error, it may also appear if you use a previous macOS version.

Issue: Premiere Pro is impacted as it relies on Adobe Media Encoder for ingest, and Adobe Media Encoder is crashing when using the ingest-copy setting to import certain file structure camera cards such as ARRI, AVCHD, Canon XF, Panasonic P2, Canon RAW, XDCAM EX, or XDCAM HD.

Issue: When the transmit overlays are enabled via the Enable overlays with Transmit and Enable overlays during playback settings (Wrench menu in Program monitor), the Transmit monitor might not display the video content correctly.

Workaround: Turn off Enable overlays with Transmit to display the frames correctly. A partial workaround would be to use the metadata effect to display a subset of the overlay information.

If you get the media relinking dialog in 23.4 and have previously used transcription, close and don't save the project. Make a backup of your project file to be safe, and use one of these options:

Issue: There is a known issue with the latest NVIDIA game-ready drivers when running Adobe applications on machines with NVIDIA cards, which can cause Apple ProRes RAW playback to show black frames.

Issue: You are unable to select from the Use options from the Video Rendering and Effects dropdown because it is greyed out. Or, if you open any project that uses OpenCL or CUDA, you get an error message - "Mercury Playback Engine is not available."
