Dear all,

I would appreciate if you someone from you who has the overview of youth engagement in Rio+20 could list and share with us major youth interventions planned in Rio coincing with the Rio+20 Conference and preceding events. Until now I have relatively better picture of:
  1. PCI led  6th World Youth Congress ( http://wycrio2012.org/ )  and
  2. UNCSD Major Group of Children and Youth led Youth Blast (http://www.uncsd2012.org/rio20/index.php?page=view&nr=687&type=230&menu=39)
However I don't see much about other activities lined up for Rio in connection with the Rio+20 Conference.

Is there anything else? How about the plans of local hosts? and other global and regional initiatives?

Better knowledge of this would help us to plan effectively our visit to Rio, and enhance existing collaboration. I think this helps also to assess our strengths and weakness in terms of geographic and thematic scopes, level of communication,  and access to other groups and UN process where we can intervene.

Have we though, how these activities planned one after other are really contributing to each other? We can definitely add values by establishing clear linkages between them.

Moreover, it would also be interesting to know if any of us are likely to be part of Government Delegation? As it matters a lot.

I would love to discuss further on this with interested colleagues. My Skype ID is tekjungmahat

Best,
Tek

Hello! There seems to have been a mis-type on my email address. Please change my email address to jennife...@gmail.com
