Faculty Opening in Game Design

Duties and responsibilities include: Design, develop and implement curriculum for an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Game Design and Simulation; Help overseeing process of curriculum acceptance through UNM-Valencia & UNM-Main Committee; Work with current Digital Media Arts faculty at UNM-V to assure smooth interface of new course offerings with current curriculum; Provide 15 credit hours of classroom instruction during each fall and spring semesters once the program is implemented; Maintain student records; Post and maintain office hours; Participate in college committees, outcomes assessment, professional development, departmental projects, and community service; Help to educate the college community about this degree; Aid in recruiting students; Help monitor and assess program activity progress; Recommend improvements and prepare reports for the Program Director; and Report to the Program Director and department chair. This faculty member will be required to travel within the state to Grants, NM to meet with Administrators and faculty at NMSU-Grants campus.
