Greetings fellow NM Game Developers,

The Unreal Engine has just radically changed its licensing structure,
and is now available for download. 25% royalties on any commercial
projects, or a $1500 per-seat license on internally developed
projects. This is a top-tier game development engine, people, worth
taking a look at:

Enjoy!

Hello,

If people don't know the Unity3d Indy version has also been made free (it's $1400 for the "Pro" version).

I made htttp://www.tosos.com/ShooterMark2.html by myself (except I had existing models and existing code to copy from) in less hours this weekend than I spent working at the nm game jam.

I think it's very similar, but *much* better than GameMaker (assuming you can fool around in blender).

Nathan.

This does sound really cool.

Having done a little modding for UT3 and a lot of modding for UT2004,
this could be really exciting to work with. Also, I do believe it's a
$2500 per-seat license for internal use.
