hiI want to update my bios of my laptop hp probook 4530s on windows 10, My current version is old scince 2011, the newest version is at least 2015, I found that windows 10 is not supported for updating bios of my product, is there any way or any solution to fix this ? (btw i saw the solution of someone who had the same problem as me in this community but the link didn't work for me coz maybe it's old ...)

This is the latest BIOS. SP85527.exe is the update executable. Download this to any computer even one running Windows 10. I did that and launched it from a much newer laptop running Windows 10 and you get to this point with it:

I also happen to have an i7-2860QM but it runs too hot (despite my custom rig done to the heat sink for both the PCH IC, CPU, and graphics heat sink) and gives only a little performance edge (WIN11 install time: 3 hours, Boot time, 15 minutes, Post-boo CPU usage more than 50% on clean install). I would like to benefit from Intel HD4000 from Ivybridge and be able to use the low heat that i7-3840QM seems to generate (when I am able to get the display working, see details below)

However, there are some issues that I am trying to get resolved for which I need help and I have been browsing the forum for weeks to learn to mod bios and flash using a TL866II+ programmer. Please see the problem I am facing below and advise.

Windows boots up fine everytime. Very long time since i went into bios settings, i wanted to see if boot from usb option was on, and on startup when i press esc key or any function keys to get into bios settings, the screen goes black, hard disk light turns on and remains on, caps lock light starts blinking, i don't have num lk key.

Yes the motherboard has a bios but to get to the program to change the settings is on your hard drive. I went to the machine's web page and looked plus I sent you a video link of the same machine being booted as I described.

I'm encountering issues with Bluetooth on my HP ProBook 4530s. It's quite perplexing; Bluetooth functions smoothly only about one out of every ten reboots. Most of the time, however, it fails to work. I've attempted to use Blueman, but it seems to only function when Bluetooth is already turned on.

The outputs are very contradictory and I don't know really what to do. I've tried Drivers, Firmware, Blueman and Bluez and bunch of other methods.

And I know that the problem is not from the hardware itself, because it is working fine on my windows 10 and I've also tried it on Ubuntu 22.04

I just found this from websearch "HP ProBook 4530s wifi switch" which may shed some light on bluetooth. Although this refers to wifi, isn't it the same card for both. I was thinking on the lines of physical switch being toggled or wireless status or Airplane mode being grabbed by Windows. When exiting Windows do a full shutdown.

Do you have Windows Fast Start disabled and BIOS Secure boot disabled?
