Okaysure, I've disabled razer cortex, but to no avail.

I've tried Fullscreen mode, although I don't see how that affects game health.

I've attached the newest clog file here (the one with razer cortex disabled).

Okay, I went into the config file and changed "dlssQuality:i=2" to "dlssQuality:i=-1" (screenshot below, ignore the red lines), saved and exited the config.blk file, relaunched war thunder, and yet no difference.

I then deleted config.blk and tried again, still freezes on loading, in the exact same place per usual.

This is, unfortunately, not the problem.

Forgot to add this information:

I had made a custom mission using the CDK (custom mission uploaded below). The CDK crashed on save and gave me this massive error with Chinese lettering and stuff in it, I just closed it and loaded war thunder with no problem. Then one hour later I opened war thunder again and this bug started happening. I have uninstalled the CDK and any relating files since yesterday (before the clean install again) and no change.

The custom mission I made is saved on my desktop but it is not in the usermissions folder. I dont know if this will help.

Yep, I found a way to get closer to in the game though. I turned off malwarebytes and everything that could cause it. I ran aces.exe (in the war thunder folder/64bit version) as an administrator.

Result: It let me login to the game, and it connected to server and everything, and then it froze once more at loading, but now I hear the hangar sound effects.

I've posted the newest clog, launcher, and game log files below.

Apparently in the logs of my gjupdater, there is another instance of the gjupdater running. This is impossible because I have ended the process tree and gone through 4 fresh installs of Warthunder and the Gaijin launcher.

I have no clue how to remedy this problem, or why its even a problem now. If you ever find a solution, be sure to let me know, until then, I guess we keep waiting for someone with the knowledge and time to come down to our lowly bug report and grace us with a solution. Nothing like losing 158 days of daily login to a random bug.

I have found the solution! At least this is what worked for me. I deleted all warthunder and gaijin files on my pc. Then fresh installed a minimal client, opened the warthunder folder --> win64 --> ran aces.exe. Waited for the game to crash which was immediately after post login. Now I just waited until I got the crash reporter and a freeze detected like in the image below, it took about 5 to 10 minutes of waiting on the frozen screen to get the fatal error and crash reporter. I hit close and restart and for some unknown reason I was able to login, no crashing after the post login screen. I played one game, logged out, ran the normal launcher and was able to keep the game running again. I came back this morning and all is still good.

So, for about a week from this date (April 13 - April 20), the game has started putting up some resistance.

I thought we'd be done here but I guess not. The fix we found required us to wait abt 20-45 minutes for the game to unfreeze, and then it ran normally.

Until abt a week ago, then I started needing to wait 20 minutes for it to load (50% of the time it loaded normally though)

Them as of yesterday and today, it does it consistently and im starting to get a little annoyed. so here goes I guess.

I have found that deleting the cache causes the game to freeze on a black screen for abt 20 minutes, load, and then work fine for about 5-10 game boots.

Then after that it starts taking forever, I suspect that its something to do with the constant 'content downloads' as deleting cache causes the downloads to start over again every time and it loads fine. Then when there's a decent amount of data in cache (after a few days of constant "content downloads") it needs another deletion.

Ill upload everything I remember that exists.

There's two sets of logs I'm uploading, there's one where the game acts as I've described above, and then the more recent logs are of a new crash I just found that made the game freeze the second I pressed "Login through steam", waiting 20 minutes gave me an error that said something like "server conn not authorized"

The first set of logs are the ones from 4/19/2022.

The second set of logs are the ones from 4/20/2022 (There are only game_logs for games on 4/20/2022, the other folders only have files from 4/19/2022)

There's also this file called 'bpreport', from 4/20/2022, might as well upload it.

I'll also upload a screenshot of each folder to try and help with this mess of logs.

As usual, if there's anything I'm forgetting, feel free to let me know. Oh and yes, I've reinstalled the game again and tried all the fixes from before, its evolving.

ALSO I FOUND THIS BUG REPORT THAT SEEMS SIMILAR??

I am having your identical issue since yesterday, opened a ticket but no response yet. However today i had a big brain move, the client crashes on 64bit version, 32bit works fine for me however you have tu manually launch it from game foder/win32/aces.exe. Waiting for them to solve the issue

Imagine having this issue after a month of you all here going through this. My story is that it was all good and normal one day then the next day after some server update the game would freeze constantly at the loading screen, not even allowing me to log in or passing through it. I've tried everything you all have tried here even deleted the whole folder and installed it on another drive, I've got a anti malware program to maybe look for something that could try and mess with the game but that also didn't helped so I disabled it for now because whenever I open the launcher 4-5 windows pop up warning me about security wise and stuff. Nothing helped. I'm at the point to clean some memory on the drive where steamgames are and install it through steam but I have a hard time believing this will help my situation.

Warhammer 3 crashing on startup or not loading is a common issue. If you also run into the issue when playing this game, what should you do to get rid of the trouble? It is easy to fix after trying solutions in this post given by MiniTool.

As a turn-based strategy and real-time tactics video game, Total War Warhammer 3 is widely used by many game players. This game is part of the Total War series. Although it is popular, some common issues are reported by users.

The first thing you should do is to make the PC uses compatible hardware so that this game can run properly without any issues like Total War Warhammer crashing on loading screen/startup or after patch.

A common reason for game crashing issues is due to the outdated or corrupt graphics card driver and Warhammer 3 may not be the exception. To fix the crashing issue on this game, you can try to update the graphics card driver to the latest version.

In addition, there are some other ways you can try to fix your issue if Warhammer 3 keeps crashing, for example, stop overlocking, run this game with admin rights, clean boot the PC, close the background apps in Task Manager, and more. Try these fixes in this post and you can easily fix the issue then play Warhammer 3 smoothly.

Hey guys, please welcome me to the green screen reboot club. Not that i wish to be inside in this club, but the last few weeks has been very stressful with all of these troubleshooting and circling around this forum, reddit, tomshardware, etc. This is probably one of the most demotivating thing i have ever experienced as i was excited to finally get to upgrade my system from intel/nvidia system to AMD system, especially in these crazy times where all of the computer parts are ridiculously priced.

A month ago, i built my system with Ryzen 5 5600x and Rx 5600 Xt (i know the gpu is a little bit weak for the cpu, but i am still comfortable playing in 1080p). It began 2 days after i successfully booted my newly built system. I was doing some benchmark on Red Dead Redemption 2 when i saw a very minor artifact at the bottom of the screen when turning MSAA on. I shrug it off and right after it finished benchmarking, bam, i got a blank green screen, and then the PC restarts itself.

Naturally, i googled around as this very much sounds like a hardware problem. Turns out, tons of navi architecture card owners (5700 and 5600) had the same issue. Some of them get black screens, but with very similar symptoms like mine. I heard that if you are using DP cable, you'll get black screen whereas if you are using HDMI (like me), you'll get green screen.
