Hi all,
I wanted to get an idea if anyone has an issue with me requiring Java 8 with the next release. I am also starting work on converting the project to Gradle, interested if anyone has thoughts on that as well.

I am currently looking into your project. I am developing based on Java 8 and using Gradle, so... go ahead. :-)
