Hi Gardeners

Are we sick of rain yet, as well as exceedingly grateful for it?  I think it is going to make for a great garden season.  Hopefully we can get stuff in the ground much earlier than last year. 

Many new people have make inquiries about getting a plot this year so we need to make some decisions to help facilitate this.  Our current rules say that if you have a plot now then you can continue that plot but you must re-sign the agreement and pay a contribution of $5 to $25.00. I am still the treasurer until such time as we meet and pick a new one so I can tell you that no one has yet signed up for this year.  I think we need to re-write or update the welcome letter and the agreement form with relevent 2010 dates very soon now.  So I propose that a few folks agree to be the steering committee for this season and that they meet in person or on line and get the ball rolling.  I am willing to be on this committee.  Are you?  If so, let's do it.

Thank you for the nice job in the report and inquiry for the 2010 season. With working full time and family commitments I will be unable to get more involved at this time. I still would like to retain my box so let me know when the money is due.  Thanks, Susie

Thank you so much for going to the Parks & Recreation meeting & providing the financial information; Contacting us all; & getting the ball rolling for 2010! Count Richard & me in for our plot & payment. Also, if you need help on the steering committee or with updating any of our documents, helping folks sign up, etc. please let me know. Is it too early for us to schedule a workday? ANYways, we'll probably see you soon since it's time for us to spruce up our plot a bit!
