Are you teaching Fundamentals of Computer Science and/or Computer Science Principles next year? Book your spot in a Code.org professional learning program!

Code.org curricula have been designed for teachers new to CS! Scholarships are available for teachers who qualify.

CS Discoveries is appropriate for students in grades 6-10 and can be taught as a semester or year-long introductory course (3-5 hours per week of instruction for 9+ weeks). The course aligns to the Fundamentals of Computer Science TEKS!

CS Principles is designed for high school students, introduces them to the foundational concepts of computer science, and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. It is aligned to and endorsed by the College Board for AP Computer Science Principles.

These curricula can be taught with a Tech Apps or CS 8-12 Texas teacher certification.

For your convenience, CS Discoveries and CS Principles cohorts are being offered in six locations across Texas:

  • Austin (July 18-22)
  • Dallas/Fort Worth (July 11-15)
  • El Paso (July 18-22)
  • Houston (July 18-22)
  • Rio Grande Valley (July 11-15)
  • San Antonio (July 11-15)

Find your local workshop and register today!

Thanks,

— Damian
