If you are a Program Director or program trainer in New York or Texas looking to boost technology and challenge-based STEM with youth in your OST community this summer, then the Tech and Career Community of Practice is for you!

STEM Next Opportunity Fund (STEM Next) and the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance’s Afterschool Coaching Reflective Educators in STEM (ACRES) program are launching the Tech and Careers Community of Practice. This community will build the capacity of out-of-school time educators to facilitate career-connected STEM learning with youth by integrating challenge-based learning curricula and technology meaningfully into their OST STEM instruction this summer.

Utilizing a Train the Trainer Model, selected coaches will attend professional development and later train other OST educators in their program, city, or network to engage youth in STEM learning experiences using group technology- all supported by STEM Next and ACRES.
