Change AudioSamplingRate

Hi,
I am recording the sound and process the sound with the help of CheapAMR.java class. When i changed the AudioSamplingRate (mRecorder.setAudioSamplingRate(44100)), this is not working. I need to change the Audio Sampling rate and the AudioEncodingBitRate. What all changes i need to done in the CheapAMR.java class for that?
