When Ann was a baby my parents were given an old brass bell with the
latin inscription: "Vocem Meam Audit Qui Me Tangit" which translates
roughly " whoever touches me hears my voice". (The bell is a "St.
Marks Bell". The bells were hung in the monastery hallway. They were
rung to wake-up the monks in the morning and finally rung at night to
announce the "grand silence".) A corollary, "whoever hears my voice is
touched by me" makes me think of "Ring Round the World"....
for what it's worth...LC
