Hello colleagues.

Although unfortunately I don't have time to study Ring further (at the
moment), I would like to ask a question about the tool that created it
(PWCT). I am in a whatsapp group about Harbour (in which Antonio Linares
and his fellow senior programmers are Harbour specialists). I have
raised the possibility of creating a new Harbour compatible with the
web. I would like to know if there is a PWCT forum where I can ask
questions about it.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello Antonio

The first generation of PWCT (PWCT 1.9 Art) which is used to create Ring is no longer under support (No Forum) because we are busy with other projects (PWCT2, Ring, etc.)

On the other hand, you don't need PWCT2 to modify Ring source code and update it to provide a version which is more suitable for Harbour developers. Just use the C code.

(1) Ring Compiler/VM source code is written in ANSI C: ring/language at master · ring-lang/ring (github.com)
Less than 25,000 lines of code - MIT License

(2) Antonio Linares and other leaders in the Harbour community are GREAT PROGRAMMERS WITH DEEP KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ABOUT THE C LANGUAGE - So they can understand Ring source code in a few days/weeks and update it.

Greetings,
Mahmoud
